WHO:

The Bright Future Adoption Foundation (BFAF) is a non-profit organization, founded in 2005 and headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio.

WHAT:
Mission of the Bright Future Adoption Foundation is: “To raise global awareness of adoption as a wonderful way to create and enhance a family, to provide funding in the form of gifts and grants to those in need of financial help with their adoptions, and to support additional organizations in their efforts to advance domestic and international adoption."

WHY:
There is a clear need for an organization with global reach to carry out the goals embodied in the mission of the BFAF and to help facilitate and financially underwrite the adoption process on a world-wide scale, matching prospective parents with orphaned children.

WHERE:
Initially, the BFAF is focusing its services, awareness mission and fund-raising in the Midwest. As soon as practical, it expects to expand these activities across the United States and internationally.

HOW:
To support its work, the Bright Future Adoption Foundation is:

* Raising funds from contributions by individuals, grants from foundations, partner-organizations and government agencies and proceeds from special events.

* Pursuing partnerships with local agencies engaged in and supportive of the adoption process.

* Giving financial gifts to adoption-related causes, including the International Adoption Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Half the Sky Foundation, a Berkeley, California-headquartered organization which seeks to enrich the lives and enhance the adoption prospects of children in China waiting to be adopted.

MANAGEMENT:
The activities of the BFAF are directed by a Board of Directors and staff. The Board of Directors is comprised of:
